and now coming in first position is team VA-NIS!!! heheh! we won we won! a surge of several adrenaline rush pulsated through my veins!! im so damn happy!lols. we won the NYP adventure race. 1st Position! yeah! we won the men's team event. there's only four events and that is the women team, the men team, the mixed team and the staffs.another gold medal are added to my collection of medals. this year alone ive achieved two gold medals in NYP quite happy though.we also won a $99 pair of hi-tech shoes each, a $100 outdoor life voucher and a $30 polar insulated bottle.Next one will be the ISG and Biathlon runs?!.maybe.
im dedicating this victory to my parents who supports me. Mum and daddy i love you!!!to god too! for giving me the strength!!! and the track team for their support!!!woo wee! and not to mention my partner khalis!!!
okay the race begins with a sudoku challenge with answers kept around the NYP campus. we ran up and down the stairs of every level in the campus. block H,J,K,L,M,N,P,Q,R,S,B,C,D. Its like around 5km running and searching for the clues. super super tired already nvm. got lost in carpark finding stupid clues...
run to the first checkpoint and off we run out from school all the way to seletar resevoir. long journey, around 10km. then when we reached the resevoir prepare to kayak and we quickly kayak for like 500m and back. rush to the second checkpoint and run back to sch!!!sian...but have too...run with the kenya team.haha!lols.its like a total of 20km altogether...by then, im like soo tired already...reaches sch only to be greeted by the redbull chicks...and all i could say give me the drinks and i say bye! they were like explaning what is that redbull comes from...oh come on...no time dah...and to the swimming pool...
at there, we clip ourselves to the rope and hang upside down pull ourselves up all the way to the middle and put our heads in the water. we have to look at the picture deep inside the pool and count how things are there and remember. but then we did it twice and past checkpoint 4! yeah. then we run to the hockey pitch for archery events...and past checkpoint 5!! hehe!damn fast sia!..
rush to checkpoint 6 for climbing, abseiling and belaying. we are so damn fast and cathup with the kenya's and off we went to the next checkpoint(7). we did our navigation to find 6 numbers in total with the help of one small compass...we did it fast again!...and rush to the arts theatre for checkpoint 8...we were like panting so hard...and they asked us to blow a baloon big enough and write the sponsors name...frm there we were told to run down all the way to the Atrium...we run as fast as we can and up the stage and poom!!! we won.we won!!!damn power la the finishin line...haa took some pictures to be uploaded soon kx..
today, ive achieved something i wanted to and doing my best proves everything...next week will be receiving the singapore netball award!! of $1000 cheque...
a long term target. be fitter and faster to joint a running club and get sponsors from adidas or nike...i hope i can!..hehe. dream big naz!!
